About the Motorola Moto e15 Unlocked
The Moto E15 is Motorola's entry-level phone, released in January 2025 for people who need a working smartphone and nothing more. It has a large 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling look smoother than the rest of the specification would suggest, and a 5200 mAh battery that comfortably covers a day and often longer with light use. A single 32 MP rear camera handles everyday photos in good light, and there is a microSD slot, a headphone jack and dual SIM support. What it is not is a fast phone. With 2GB of RAM and a 720 x 1604 screen, it is built for calls, texts, messaging apps, email and light browsing. As a first phone, a phone for a child or an older family member, or a spare kept aside for emergencies, it is honest and functional.

Things to consider
2GB of RAM is the real limit. Apps will reload when switching between them, and running several at once is not something this phone does well. The 720 x 1604 resolution on a 6.67-inch screen is noticeably less sharp than a 1080p display, particularly for small text. There is one rear camera, so no ultrawide or zoom, and low-light photos are weak. Charging is 18W, which is modest, and the 64 GB of storage fills quickly, though the microSD slot helps.
Is the Moto E15 a good buy?
Judged as what it is, an entry-level phone, it holds up. The battery is large, the screen is big and the 90 Hz panel is a genuine bonus at this level. Anyone expecting smooth multitasking, sharp video or good night photography should look at a higher tier instead. For basic calling, messaging and light everyday use, or as a reliable spare, it does the job without pretending to be more.
