Things to consider
At 204 g it is noticeably heavier than its non-Pro sibling, which is the price of the stainless frame and the extra lens. The 3095 mAh battery is modest for a phone of this capability, so a long day of navigation or video will want a top-up. Charging is over Lightning rather than USB-C. There is no microSD slot and no 3.5 mm headphone jack, so storage is fixed at purchase and wired listening needs an adapter.
Is the iPhone 13 Pro a good buy?
Yes, particularly if photography matters to you. The triple camera, the sharp display and the build quality still stand up well, and the estimated update dates mean it should stay secure for years. The compromises are weight, battery capacity and the older charging port. If those do not bother you, it delivers most of what a current Pro phone does, in a size that is easier to live with.
