Things to consider
At 203 g and 160.8 mm tall this is a large, fairly heavy phone that will not suit one-handed use or small pockets. There is no microSD slot, so the storage you buy is the storage you keep. Charging is over Lightning rather than USB-C, and there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired listening needs an adapter or a Bluetooth set. The rear camera has no dedicated telephoto lens, which limits how far you can zoom without losing detail.
Is the iPhone 14 Plus a good buy?
If the big screen and the long battery life are what you are after, this is one of the easiest choices in the range. It does the everyday work well, charges wirelessly, and the estimated support window runs into the next decade, so it should stay current for years. Skip it if you want something compact, or if you need serious zoom for photography. Otherwise it delivers the two things large-phone buyers actually ask for.
